Last fall, Selena Gomez teamed up with Coach on a range of leather goods, but this year, the pair have taken their collaboration up a notch by adding ready-to-wear into the mix. The pop star and actress worked closely with Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers to develop the line, which reflects Gomez's feminine and playful sense of style.
"I'm so proud of the collection," said Gomez in a press statement. "What I love most about working with the Coach team is that they just know how I dress. Everything felt authentic from the beginning."
The range, which drops on Aug. 31, will include an assortment of silk slips embellished with lace, ultra-soft sweaters and hoodies done in retro-inspired pastels. The collection will also debut two new bag silhouettes finished with antique looking crystal and bows.
"I love working with Selena because she brings her strong point-of-view to the design process," said Vevers in an official statement. "I wanted all of the pieces to reflect her style and her charm — and to feel effortless."
The campaign for the Coach x Selena Gomez collection mimics the brand's Fall 2018 campaign, which combined New York City skylines with prairie dresses and Western detailing. This campaign was also shot by Steven Meisel, and was a collaborative effort involving Pat McGrath, who handled the makeup, and Guido Palau, who created her up-do.
In the visuals, Gomez leans on retro vehicles, with her new richly-colored handbags and dainty pastel dresses on full display. Check out the full campaign in gallery below.
