With the 2018 Emmys red carpet — and after parties — on Monday, the fashion shows (and street style) in London and Milan, plus the usual roundup of premieres and parties, there were so, so many stylish moments this week. And through it all, we managed to keep up with what all of our favorite fashion-savvy celebrities and influencers chose to get dressed up in.

What we noticed among our best-dressed picks was an affinity for ruffles and pleats — a very festive detail when it comes to public appearances. We love the colorful and metallic pleating on the Givenchy gown Emma Stone wore to the premiere of her Netflix series "Maniac." Florence Welch opted for layered ruffles on her sparkly, ethereal Gucci look at the 2018 Mercury Prize event in London, and Charlize Theron wore the Italian house, too, while attending the opening gala for Palisades Village in California. Though, the actress's ensemble was made up of black velvet and pleated trim. Lauren Conrad was at the same event as Theron in a cold-shoulder red dress reminiscent of a certain emoji on our iPhones. And finally, Leomie Anderson's one-shoulder look from Alexandre Vauthier came with ruffled tulle, which was the perfect vibe to celebrate Love Magazine's 10th birthday in London.
