For fashion brands, a coveted handbag is revenue gold. Traditionally, the "It" bag is a designer-name item, made up of sleek leather and adorned with a highly recognizable logo and hardware details. But these days — at least when it comes to street style — we're starting to notice more preference over interesting and quirky aesthetics rather than designer-name branding.

The final day of London Fashion Week boasted plenty of examples, including furry totes, beaded purses and textured bucket bags. Our favorite so far is from Balenciaga, which isn't hard to miss at all: It's bright yellow with a pair of cute kittens on it. Extra style points if you match the rest of your outfit with its bright, cheerful hue, like the daring showgoer that you see in the photo above.
