We have to give props to the fashion crowd this New York Fashion Week. On the first official day of shows, they faced a heatwave with temperatures hitting the 90s, and now, they're having to brave the elements for the remainder of a very busy schedule. On Sunday, especially, showgoers traveled through nonstop rainy weather — even sitting outdoors for several Spring 2019 runway shows, including Telfar and Rodarte.
Luckily, the gloomy weekend didn't put a damper on the street style. In fact, we witnessed every type of raincoat that could possibly exist, from bright pink and plaid to checkered, clear PVC and trusty trench coat silhouettes. Who knew the waterproof outerwear was such a wardrobe must-have?
