Announce a new cool color du jour and the fashion flock will follow. On the last day of New York Fashion Week, it wasn't "millennial pink" that the street style crowd was wrapped up in, or even the relatively new sunny shade of "Gen-Z yellow." Rather, it was the color green in all of its wide-ranging glory took over.
From neon-tinted, super-trendy slime to a light-and-pretty pastel, showgoers stocked up on the popular hue in various shades on Wednesday. There were sculptural green jackets and coats, as well as breezy green blouses and dresses; the color was paired with tailored pants or logo-covered tights, and even matching socks. Though fashion week has officially wrapped in New York City, we have a very strong feeling we'll see more green on showgoers over in London, Milan and Paris.
