It was just a few months ago that Derek Blasberg, BFF of seemingly every celebrity ever, contributing editor at Vanity Fair and former host of CNN Style, announced that he'd be joining the team at YouTube as the head of fashion and beauty partnerships. As of Paris Fashion Week this season, it looks like Blasberg is already putting his many celebrity connections to work in building buzz for his new employer. On Wednesday night, Blasberg co-hosted a YouTube party at the U.S. Embassy that drew a host of fashion's biggest names from the worlds of modeling, media, design and more to mingle and enjoy a performance by Haim, as well as a DJ set by Virgil Abloh.
"YouTube hosts its own style ecosystem; a place where countless hours of video that are devoted to fashion, beauty, culture and self expression live," Blasberg said in a press release. "It's an honor to interact in this world and encourage its growth, especially in an iconic place like the U.S. Embassy and at Paris Fashion Week."
This was a fashion party, of course, which meant that everyone showed up ready to strut their stuff — whether it was Bella Hadid in a form-fitting collared peach Emilio Pucci number, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in a feathered red Attico minidress or Victoria Beckham in tailored yellow pants. Take a peek at all the best looks from the YouTube cocktail party at Paris Fashion Week below.
