Maria Wears These Super-Soft Leggings to Work Out and to Do Absolutely Nothing

Who says athleisure only has to do with athletics?

When "Saturday Night Live" aired its funny take on a Nike ad for "Pro-Chiller" leggings, it was probably the most relatable commercial parody I've ever seen. Sometimes I wear leggings to work out, and sometimes I wear leggings to do absolutely nothing. My favorite pair at the moment is Alo's lounge leggings, which are made from the brand's special "Alosoft" fabrication.

They're lightweight and stretchy for when I take a barre or cardio class, but they're also extremely cozy and comfortable for when I "just want to sit the hell down and chill." I often catch myself running my hands along these leggings because they're so soothingly soft. It's weird, I know, but if you try them on, you'll totally get where I'm coming from.

Like most of Alo's pieces, the price for these leggings are on the higher side — and for full transparency, I was given this pair — but as someone who normally stocks up on affordable athleisure from places like Target or even Forever 21, it's worth having a high-quality item that you know will last for a very long time. (I can recall a few times I've gotten rid of cheaply made leggings after only a year.)

Now that it's colder, the chances of wearing these super-soft leggings while doing nothing are increasing by the day. It's time to put these Alo babies to good use and make what "SNL" likes to call a "couch panini."
