The '90s icon was back to posing on a beach, though she traded in her red one-piece for a chic tweed suit.

As the old saying goes: If a fake beach is created in Paris for a runway show and there's no one there to see it, did it make a sound? Or... something. So of course, Karl Lagerfeld wasn't going to stage his spectacular Chanel presentation — set on a manmade seascape, complete with actual sand and water — without inviting a crowd of celebrities and fashion folks to appreciate it.

Pamela Anderson, who herself has a close association with the beach theme, showed up wearing a head-to-toe cream Chanel ensemble, featuring a skirt suit in the brand's iconic tweed — a massive departure from her iconic "Baywatch" look. Also in attendance was Pharrell Williams, who chose a more casual gray-and-white zip-up covered with the brand name and cropped khaki pants. Pants and suits were popular choices for many of the showgoers, including Poppy Delevingne, who wore a wide-leg tweed suit with a satin shawl tuxedo collar, and Irene Kim, who went for a leather variation. Sure, most of these looks may not have been at home on an actual beach, but for Paris Fashion Week's version, they worked just fine.
