Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world's eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We'll be following the Meghan Markle Effect™ with our column, "Meghan Markle Wore a Thing."
In what was anything but a low-key Saturday date night, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the Closing Ceremony of the Invictus Games at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, where they both had the honor of addressing the crowd with personal speeches. Meghan Markle, who expressed her sincere gratitude to the Invictus Games community for accepting her into their family, wore an olive green tuxedo-style Antonio Berardi dress, which was sleeveless with a midi-length hem. She accessorized the smart look with gold bangle bracelets, some drop earrings that matched the shade of her dress and a pair of peach Aquazzura "Casablanca" pointed toe pumps that retail for $750.
Meghan's Saturday night beauty look was one that's becoming a signature of hers: A pulled-back updo with a side bun and two strands of hair left loose framing her face. She kept her makeup fresh with little more than a bronze glow. Hopefully the royal couple was able to call it a night early, as their journey to New Zealand is up next.
