Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world's eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We'll be following the Meghan Markle Effect™ with our column, "Meghan Markle Wore a Thing."
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have departed for their royal tour's final stop: New Zealand. After attending the Invictus Games Closing Ceremony in Australia, the couple bid farewell at the airport in fairly fancy attire. While Prince Harry looked dapper in a gray suit, Meghan Markle wore a sophisticated high-neck, belted dress by Boss (of the brand Hugo Boss) in a lush burgundy shade. She accessorized the look with Aquazzura heels in a powder-pink suede and a matching Cuyana mini chain saddle bag. The Duchess wore silver-and-pearl drop earrings by the Australian jewelry brand Paspaley — a sartorial shout-out to her time spent Down Under.
