Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world's eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We'll be following the Meghan Markle Effect with our column, "Meghan Markle Wore a Thing."

Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle's penchant for boatnecks is well-documented, perhaps never more blatantly than with the silk Givenchy gown worn to her and Duke of Sussex Prince Harry's May nuptials. And while the Duchess has been stepping outside her nautical-style comfort zone while on her 16-day royal tour of Australia, New Zealand, Tonga and Fiji, she hasn't entirely abandoned her maritime soft spot.

On Thursday while attending an event for This Girl Can (an organization that promotes everyday physical fitness among women) in Melbourne, the Duchess wore a $990 navy, sailor-style dress by Australian designer Dion Lee. The midi-length piece features an A-line asymmetrical hemline with a wrapped bodice and folded skirt. Meanwhile, the color — paired with the V-neck neckline — make for a particularly naval, and accordingly classic, garment.

The best part is that not only is the dress still available, but it's actually available for pre-order. You can head to DionLee.com to secure it for delivery between December 2018-January 2019. Hop to it, sailors.
