Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world's eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We'll be following the Meghan Markle Effect™ with our column, "Meghan Markle Wore a Thing."
As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, bring their multi-country tour to an end in New Zealand, they spent their second-to-last day of traveling greeting fans during a "walkabout" in Auckland on their way to a Pillars charity event. The couple was greeted by crowds offering signs, flowers and gifts, and they took the time to shake hands and even adorably crouch down and interact with the children who'd come out to see them.
For the occasion, the Duchess wore a crepe sheath dress in "custom nude" by Brandon Maxwell, which she topped with a Burberry trench with puffed sleeves, suede Stuart Weitzman pumps and earrings by Boh Runga (a New Zealand-based brand).
