Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world's eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We'll be following the Meghan Markle Effect with our column, "Meghan Markle Wore a Thing."

Immediately following a big wedding and an (even bigger?) pregnancy announcement, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have officially embarked on their 16-day trip through Australia. More importantly, Meghan Markle has worn her first outfit of the journey — and her first since making the aforementioned announcement.

It seems that announcement was well-timed. In this lovely white sheath dress by Aussie designer Karen Gee, it would be difficult to hide a large meal, let alone a growing royal baby. We think it's safe to say there is indeed a small bump there. And a cute one at that!

The couple's first engagement of the trip was a welcome event at Admiralty House, where they did things like hold hands and accept gifts — including tiny Ugg boots and a stuffed kangaroo that Markle exclaimed was their "first baby gift!"

As confirmed by What Meghan Wore, the dress is currently available on Gee's website and, fittingly, it's called the "Blessed Dress."

UPDATE, Tuesday, Oct. 16, 8:03 a.m.: Later in the day, the Duchess of Sussex set out for a visit to Sydney's Taronga Zoo, for which she added a Martin Grant beige trench coat (from the Australian designer's Resort 2019 collection) on top of her Karen Gee Dress.

And even later, she also changed into a pair of Rothy's "The Point" flats, which are very much still available (!) and currently retail for $145.
