Though we just wrapped an entire fashion month of Spring 2019 collections, ads for Fall 2018 are still rolling in. The latest to debut its new campaign is Pyer Moss, which also kicks off the New York brand's visuals for its "American, Also" series, a major inspiration and reference point for designer Kerby Jean-Raymond since his runway show in February.

The visual concept includes ad imagery and videos that take place in Chicago's Southside, Baltimore, Los Angeles and Brooklyn's Brownsville. Continuing with Pyer Moss's Fall 2018 inspiration — underrepresented 19th-century Black cowboys — the campaign features literal, modern-day cowboys, including the horseback-riding organization Compton Cowboys and rodeo team Cowgirls of Color, as well as individuals who strive to make their communities a better place, such as anti-violence activist Ameena Matthews and Nadia Lopez, the principal and founder of Mott Hall Bridges Academy and an influential advocate for public education. The 15-minute film, directed by Rubberband, scored by Raphael Saadiq and broken down into eight one-minute trailers, centers around the question "Do you feel American?"

The campaign debut also marks the relaunch of Pyer Moss's e-commerce, a redesign of the brand's entire website and the worldwide release of its Fall 2018 collection, which includes its anticipated and highly-applauded collaboration with Reebok.
