Baker Boy Caps Were a Street Style Staple at Seoul Fashion Week

It's time to replace your beanies this winter.

As one of Fashionista's favorite sayings goes, "It's always fashion week somewhere," and to that end, the most recent Spring 2019 shows wrapped up in Seoul, South Korea over the weekend. While the street style crowd leaned heavily into layered-denim looks and suiting, a certain accessory topped almost every outfit: the baker boy cap.

It seems like the on-trend item still has legs, as we noticed this popular style as early as last year during Paris Fashion Week. In addition to the structured, short-brim piece, we noticed berets and bucket hats among showgoers, as well. Is the knitted beanie now obsolete? Are we over dad hats now? As the colder temps kick in on the east coast, perhaps it's time for us to consider switching things up, too.
