What the Buyers Are Buying From the Spring 2019 Runways
The Spring 2019 shows in New York, London, Milan and Paris made for a long month of shakeups and controversies in addition to a number of delightful, excellent collections. We have our favorites, as do you, we're sure. But what did the buyers think?
Once again, we asked the womenswear buying directors at a few of the world's top luxury retail destinations to round up some of the looks that got them pulling out their checkbooks this season. Fendi and Valentino were especially popular, and it looks like Burberry and Celine — which both debuted the first designs by new creative directors — will be getting significant orders as well.
