LaQuan Smith may not yet be a full-blown household name in the way that many designers who collaborate with high-street retailers are, but that doesn't mean his designs are any less desirable. He's amassed a significant celebrity following that includes trend-setters like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and the Kardashian-Jenners with his figure-hugging pieces that are meant to celebrate the female form, in a cool way. And today, that aesthetic will be available to the masses through a collaboration with online fast-fashion giant ASOS.

"I'm still growing my brand and this just opens up a lot of doors for other potential partnerships to happen in the future for other brands like mine," Smith told Fashionista back in September. "A lot of the kids that aspire to wear my clothes and want to be a part these experiences can't necessarily afford it, so I think this is great."

The collection includes more accessible versions of pieces that have graced the bodies of the aforementioned stars, from shimmery striped bodycon dresses like one Beyoncé wore, and vinyl pieces that recall those made famous by Kim Kardashian. There's also lots of leopard, mesh, bodysuits, legging shorts, luxe outerwear, camo boots, blingy jewelry and even a du-rag. It encompasses both men's and women's pieces as well as ASOS's extended sizing categories ASOS Curve and ASOS Plus.

The range feels both true to Smith's vision and extremely likely to appeal to ASOS's target demographic, which is undoubtedly what both parties aimed to achieve. That it also addresses inclusivity in an authentic-feeling way is icing on the cake.
