From the People's Choice Awards and Glamour's Women of the Year Awards to the CMAs and the Latin Grammy Awards, this week was jam-packed with red carpet events. And that's only scratching the surface of star-studded soirées: There was also the Guggenheim Gala with DiorMichelle Obama's press tour for her new book "Becoming," as well as a slew of movie premieres, to name only a few. Plus, of course Meghan Markle wore more things.

With so many fancy get-togethers, it seems like our pick of best-dressed celebrities went all in on tulle-heavy looks. After all, the ethereal fabric has had quite the resurgence on the catwalk lately, and what better way to make a statement on the red carpet than wear layers upon layers of it? Janelle Monáe opted for Jean Paul Gaultier's design at Glamour's Women of the Year Awards, while singer Gloria "Goyo" Martinez of ChocQuibTown chose a bold red by Michael Costello at the Latin Grammy Awards. Jorja Smith also wore red tulle for Dior's Guggenheim gala pre-party, as well as Duckie Thot, who attended the same event, in a cool mauve hue.

Perhaps we'll consider switching our sequins for tulle for this year's holiday party circuit. Until then, see more of our favorite looks from the past week in the gallery below.
