Hedi Slimane, Celine's newly hired artistic, creative and image director (yes, actual title), will present at Men's Fashion Week Paris this coming January, first reported by WWD. A representative for Celine confirmed the news with Fashionista and more details will be available soon. Slimane already debuted the French house's first foray into menswear — specifically that of the super-skinny, slim-cut variety — at Paris Fashion Week back in September.
Once Slimane establishes an exact show date from the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, Celine will join another marquee name on next year's Fall 2019 menswear lineup: Givenchy, which will show on Wednesday, Jan. 16. (Clare Waight Keller's plan to ditch the coed show format was announced in late October.) Meanwhile, a slew of other luxury brands continue to present coed runway shows at fashion week, including Balenciaga, Gucci, Maison Margiela and Stella McCartney, who showcased menswear for the first time alongside women's during Paris Fashion Week in March.
