Glamour held its annual Women of the Year Awards event to celebrate its 2018 honorees on Monday evening. The ceremony itself no doubt served up plenty of inspiration, considering the lineup was absolutely stacked with heroic women, including the female Parkland student anti-gun-violence activists, Judge Rosemarie Aquilina of the Larry Nassar trial and even a surprise appearance by none other than Hillary Clinton

A fringe benefit of the whole thing was that there was also ample inspiration on the fashion front. Celebrity attendees showed up in a range of different looks that spanned casual separates, jumpsuits and even dramatic gowns. The prevailing trend of the evening was suiting of all varieties, with Viola Davis, Aly Raisman, Dilone and Zosia Mamet each choosing their own interpretations of classic tailoring. One-shoulder gowns also had a big night, with Chrissy Teigen, Claire Danes and Karlie Kloss all wearing some iteration, as did thigh-high slits, found on both Lili Reinhart and Iskra Lawrence.

All in all, there was a lot of individuality at play, as well as a palpable vibe of attendees just wanting to have fun with their fashion, which in many cases meant bright flashes of color (like Ashley Graham's slime-green pants or Raisman's electric-blue suit, both by Christian Siriano).
