Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world's eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We'll be following the Meghan Markle Effect™ with our column, "Meghan Markle Wore a Thing."
Events might be slowing down stateside in the lead-up to Thanksgiving, but things are still in full swing in the UK, where Royal guests came out for the annual Royal Variety Performance, a charity event at the Palladium Theatre in London on Monday night. They included, of course, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. And yes, the Duchess wore something — something fancy.
Meghan Markle's proclivity for a subdued color palette continues, but with a sparkly twist, in this black-and-white gown (or top and skirt?) with a halter neck by British label Safiyaa. It features the same sequin leaf pattern as this top, available for $1,149.
She accessorized the look with a sparkly clutch and Maison Birks earrings, with her hair in her favorite low bun style with loose pieces framing her face.
