We're only one week into December and we're already pretty drained from the holiday party season. There were so many red carpet opportunities — galas, premieres, parties, runway shows and more parties — over the last seven days, we could barely keep track. To refresh your memory, some key moments in New York City included Alexander Wang's "Collection 2" showVersace's Pre-Fall 2019 show, Marc Jacobs's Redux Grunge Collection launch, Chanel's Métiers d'Art 2019 show at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Billboard's 2018 Women in Music event — and that's only scratching the surface. There's Art Basel happening in Miami through the weekend, a film festival in Marrakech, GQ's 2018 Men of the Year party in Beverly Hills and more. Oh, and a busy week of public appearances wouldn't be complete without Meghan Markle Wearing a Thing, too.

To keep up with the festive party circuit, our favorite stylish celebrities wore some very serious sparkle this week. After all, 'tis the season, right? Tessa Thompson hosted a party in Miami in a show-stopping Marc Jacobs look, comprised of ruffles and sequins in a bright, pastel yellow. Margot Robbie is currently promoting her new film "Mary Queen of Scots" and opted for an embellished haute couture gown by Chanel for its New York premiere. Dakota Johnson and Tracee Ellis Ross both wore dazzling numbers by Gucci for their respective events, while Elsa Hosk and Herieth Paul wore full-on, head-to-toe sparkle for the viewing party of the 2018 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Phew!

As we inch closer and closer to the holidays and the New Year, we can only imagine that celebrities' high-spirited looks will get increasingly dressier — and we're not mad about it.
