Ever since Victoria Beckham announced her collaboration with Reebok back in 2017, we've been anticipating what exactly the British designer's take on sportswear would be. The collection's original release was slated for the end of 2018, and over the summer of last year, Beckham debuted a capsule collection of merch inspired by the sports brand's basketball archive from the '90s and Shaquille O'Neal. The two also co-hosted an event in Los Angeles to celebrate the new partnership and Beckham divulged little about her upcoming line, aside from the fact that there will be at least one pair of unisex sneakers.
Now that we've reached 2019, we're given the full reveal of Beckham's Spring 2019 line for Reebok, which debuted on Tuesday morning. "The idea behind this collection was to mix the relaxed attitude of streetwear with the technical performance of sportswear, whilst staying true to the minimal aesthetic of my brand and incorporating unisex pieces, which was key for me when developing the collection," said Beckham, who was inspired by her time living in Los Angeles and London, in an official statement.
The campaign, photographed by Mario Sorrenti and styled by Alastair McKimm, features a slew of unisex streetwear pieces — hoodies, sweatsuits and bomber jackets — as well as performance garments, like matching two-piece sets and sports bras, in a cool color palette of black, white, camel, silver and bright orange. For accessories, Beckham created a beanie and baseball cap with an original logo mash-up of the two collaborating brands, a backpack and, of course, a fanny pack. The collection's sneaker is available in at least two different colorways.
