After the speeches are made, the musical numbers performed and the little gold statues handed out, the Oscars might officially be wrapped up — but for the award ceremony's high-profile attendees, all that means the night is just beginning. For many stars, after-parties are a must, with the Vanity Fair bash being the biggest shindig in town. It's also an occasion for models and celebrities who may not have attended the Academy Awards themselves to show up and strut their stuff.

The 2019 Oscars after parties were no exception. Models like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Alessandra Ambrosio and Lais Ribeiro opted for old-school glam in sparkly gowns, and even figures who are often more behind-the-scenes — think television creators Jill Solloway and Shonda Rhimes — got gussied up for the occasion. While there were plenty of full-length gowns, shorter cocktail dresses and perfectly-tailored pantsuits, some of the most memorable looks of the night were none of the above. Kendall Jenner wore one such noteworthy ensemble: a hip-baring "dress" that was more of a top connected to a very fancy loincloth (?) down below. Zoe Kravitz, who showed up to the party in a black Saint Laurent skirt and a gold mesh bra from Tiffany & Co., also made quite a stir.
