After running around outside in nearly every weather element that could happen over the course of winter during New York Fashion Week, I think it's safe to say that I'm ready as hell for spring to get here. My dear and trusty arsenal of wool coats, you've kept me warm and cozy for the past three months, but I think it's time that we take a break. It's not you, really, it's me.
So I'm already switching wardrobe gears and thinking about my spring uniform, which I plan to mostly revolve around this new chore jacket from Everlane. I've already mentioned my big workwear kick before, and this French-inspired jacket could fuel my sartorial inspiration. The slightly cropped, boxy silhouette will layer nicely over my T-shirts and turtlenecks (it's not officially spring just yet, after all), and there are plenty of roomy pockets for when I want to ditch my handbag for the day. That's the beauty of workwear garments: Every detail serves a useful purpose.
Plus, to really complete the whole workwear ensemble that I'm aiming to achieve, I plan to pair this jacket with Everlane's matching carpenter pants, too.
