Among a sea of leopard, python and zebra prints at New York Fashion Weekplaid was a street style favorite on Sunday, proving that the prep revival is officially here. We noticed the checkered motif trend as early as last year, when Cher Horowitz-approved plaid took over the Fall 2018 runways. Now the print is back in full force, first at New York Fashion Week: Men's, and, currently, the women's shows, specifically in the form of suiting, from slouchy styles to Tibi's tie-wrap version, which was spotted on a few influencers at the brand's Fall 2019 runway show.
