It's 2019, people, and we're taking archaic fashion rules to the next level. Tired: Matching your shoes with your belt or bag. Wired: Matching your winter hat with anything else in your outfit, as evidenced by the street style from New York Fashion Week on Tuesday. Most showgoers opted to pair their cozy pastel beanies or berets with their also-pastel coats, while one daring individual decided to synchronize pops of slime green between her bucket hat, turtleneck (a winter outfit essential, we've learned) and sneakers

This monochromatic approach to getting dressed has been practiced all week, as we noticed tons of brown and beige-laden outfits among the fashion crowd a few days back. And since we're really into these matchy-matchy looks, we just might have to apply these style tips to our own outfits very soon.
