The Street Style Crowd Wore All Sorts of Vests on Day 1 of Paris Fashion Week
Bonjour from Paris! We've finally hit the home stretch of Fashion Month and showgoers were ready to hit the ground running for the last string of Fall 2019 collections set to debut. Kicking things off was Dior (followed by Saint Laurent in the evening), which brought the street style crowd in their best Maria Grazia Chiuri-designed ensembles.
But among a sea of Saddle bags and tulle was another standout "It" item: the vest. Lots of them, from an oversized and multifunctional style for a more streetwear-leaning outfit to a tailored, tie-wrap version that added both polish and panache; the garment was a fit for almost every aesthetic. Who knew it was so versatile?
