Ahead of Tommy Hilfiger x Zendaya's Paris Fashion Week debut, the American fashion designer and actress/singer have given us a sneak peek of their TommyNow capsule collection. It's the first celebrity-designed follow up to Hilfiger's blockbuster two-year collaboration with Gigi Hadid, but aesthetically it could not be more different.
Zendaya took inspiration from the '70s, namely the decade's "strong, iconic women," per a press release, including those involved in the historic 1973 Battle of Versailles fashion show. There are structured coats and blazers, high-waisted jeans, pinstripes, rainbow graphics, printed suits and wrap dresses. The collection's aesthetic is a tad more mature than Hadid's youthful, sporty, '90s-inspired pieces and — at least from what we can see here — doesn't rely on logomania as heavily as Hilfiger's collections have lately.
Get a peek at the lookbook below and stay tuned for the full Spring 2019, which will be unveiled in Paris on March 2 and immediately available to shop.
