I recently moved apartments and went through a major purge with my wardrobe. The great thing about this recent development is that I'm now only in possession of clothing, shoes and accessories that spark joy (shout out, Marie Kondo). The bad thing is that I don't have much room for new things, even though I really don't need more stuff, especially when it comes to clothing. Add in the fact that the seasons will soon be changing — please, warm weather, I need you — isn't much help either, since I now have an itch to revamp what I usually wear, starting with the addition of this T-shirt from Acne Studios.
I already have too many T-shirts, but adding one more to my collection won't hurt, right? I try to practice the KonMari method fairly regularly (twice a season, maybe), but I'm fine to do more if that leads to some extra room in my dresser drawer. After all, seeing this top truly sparks joy for me: I love the charcoal gray juxtaposed with a black collar, and the graphic adds a cool vintage feel. Plus, it's about Merce Cunningham — a legendary modern dance choreographer — so I know wearing this shirt will bring back some lovely memories from my childhood and teenage years. I think Kondo would approve if I decide to make a purchase.
