The Brow Gel Tyler Relies Upon for a Polished Look

Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel, $24, available here.
There are many benefits to having bangs, including — but not limited to — saving money on Botox (what forehead wrinkles?!) and an ability to be lazy with makeup (sometimes I don't put foundation on my forehead, what of it?!).
But bangs don't completely cover up your eyebrows, which means I do still need to think about taming them on occasion. I've flirted with a lot of different products for this purpose, from pencils to powders to gels, but nothing has worked for me the way Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel has.
My eyebrows aren't sparse, per se, but they aren't exactly full either — there was an extremely traumatizing waxing incident in my teen years which stripped me of a layer of skin and left me looking, as one friend put it, a lot like E.T. — so I don't need something heavy-duty, just something to fluff and fill. I go with the 4.5 shade, which helps deepen the color of my brows so they stand out against both my pale skin and my dark-red hair, and the formula polishes them up and keeps them in place all day. The result is quite subtle.

I don't end up with Cara Delevingne-style brows, but this gets me as close to that as possible without genetic modification.
