Krupp Group Is Hiring An Account Manager In New York, NY

Established in 2005, Krupp Group is a full-service, boutique agency serving global clients from offices in New York City and Los Angeles.

Title: Account Manager
Position Reports To: Vice President

Basic Function: Oversee and execute day to day communications efforts on behalf of Krupp Group clients across varying categories, including, jewelry, accessories, fashion, lifestyle. Develop original, out-of-the-box ideas to promote brands and seasonal brand strategies, secure features across broadcast, print and digital media. Focus on big picture strategy and achieving client goals, alongside securing media placements and engaging new media opportunities (ie. podcasts, speaking engagements, etc.)

Essential duties:

  • Strategic planning to support client goals and objectives
  • Exploring new press vehicles, cross-promotion ideas, partnership and brand building opportunities for further client promotion
  • Pitching stories and composing media releases, to secure:
    • Business features
    • Brand features and news
    • Trend stories
  • Orchestrating PR tactics for each client alongside company timelines and industry calendars:
    • Press appointments and previews
    • Mailers
    • Events
    • Media Releases
  • Providing managerial support and delegating to Coordinator & Assistants
    • Implementing and evolving team processes and new procedures
    • Sample trafficking
    • Managing high value inventories for clients ranging from fine jewelry brands to show collections
    • Overseeing proper insurance protocol for high valued pulls
    • Supervising press clippings and media monitoring
  • Maintaining daily communication with clients and media contacts
  • Managing client events
  • Compiling monthly status reports and submitting to clients
  • Creating strategic and focused target media lists

Recommended Articles


  • At least 5 - 7 years of experience in fashion and lifestyle corporate communications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge in global and corporate marketing preferred
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker with strong organizational skills and ability to function effectively in a fast paced work environment
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills and excellent writing skills
  • Ability to manage several clients and meet their needs
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook and familiarity with Launchmetrics and Cision is preferred
