Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world's eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We'll be following the Meghan Markle Effect™ with our column, "Meghan Markle Wore a Thing."
It's shaping up to be a busy day for the (very pregnant) Duchess of Sussex and her tastefully elegant wardrobe. After sporting a lovely emerald-green Erdem number for her first Commonwealth Day engagement at Canada House in London, the festivities continued at Westminster Abbey — and called for an outfit change. For the Commonwealth Day service later on Monday, Meghan Markle chose a cream dress with a chain pattern by beloved British designer Victoria Beckham, a cream coat, cream hat and green clutch and heels
She was joined at the service by her husband, as well as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Kate Middleton chose a recycled red Catherine Walker coat for the occasion (and greeted Markle warmly with a kiss on the cheek, according to The Daily Mail).
Markle's due date is believed to be sometime in April, but she doesn't seem to have any intention of cutting back on appearances as it approaches — and she clearly has no shortage of maternity wardrobe options to show off.
