The Commerce Director at Brother Vellies coordinates and oversees our omnichannel sales strategy across the board.
Candidates should have a background in luxury wholesale sales with a focus on accessories. Abnormal fixation on website conversion rates and analytics also a plus. Only seeking team players and people who love plants.

WHOLESALE
- Market planning: dates, making rental and travel arrangements in collaboration with Aurora, researching new stores,outreach to buyers with market invite
- Collection management: Pricing, sample image collection/creation, linesheet creation
- Market: Making and confirming appointments, buyer follow-up, order capture, order transcription
- In-Season Management: checking in with existing accounts for reorders/sell-throughs, managing damages or RA requests, swaps
- Immediates Management: Negotiate immediates orders with new accounts or pop ups, create ATS and custom line sheets (happens about 4-6 times per season)

INVOICING PARTNER MANAGEMENT
- Line sheets: Send line sheets with content and COO information to BA at the beginning of the season for style number creation, follow up for style numbers
- Orders: send all collected wholesale orders (with style numbers) to Brand Assembly for creation of their ERM/Allocation document
- Order Confirmations: follow-up with BA team to make sure order confirmations are being sent out to buyers
- Deposits: follow up with BA team to make sure that deposits are being collected and held with Hilldun escrow
- Incoming Shipments: With each new invoice from a manufacturer, notify BA team of incoming wholesale units (using BA style numbers) so that pick tickets can be generated and prepayment invoices can be collected on. Chase Pick Ticket creation.
- Oversee: Collection of Prepayments and Invoice Uploads to Hilldun, Application of Prepayments to Hilldun Invoices
- Send tracking numbers for all shipped packages, collaborate on any EDI/ASN shipments
- Periodically (1x month) audit internal records versus BA records to make sure all invoices are being uploaded
RETAIL
- General store presentation and merchandising
- Lead organization and inventory initiatives
- Oversight of Shopify Point of Sale system (functionality, health, improvements)
- Manage retail team, hours, part time staffing, hiring
- Seasonal in store event planning
- Identify clientelling initiatives
ECOMMERCE
- General ecommerce presentation and merchandising
- Oversight of Shopify functionality and health
- Work with web designer (Ben Rabb) on occasional improvements/fixes
- Identify clientelling initiatives (top customers, inactive customers, customers that don’t receive email marketing, etc)
- Monthly audit unfulfilled orders and work with sales team to resolve/clean up record-keeping
- Run unfulfilled order reports for new shipments to be allocated for DTC
- Work with customer service to resolve any customer disputes before raising refund requests
