The first Monday in May is upon us once again, which means that the Met Gala — i.e. "fashion prom" — is here. It's the one night a year where the biggest names in the industry, from designers and models to It girls to celebs, all gather to see and be seen (and to raise a few million dollars for the Costume Institute).

This year's exhibition "Camp: Notes on Fashion" is a play on the famous Susan Sontag essay "Notes on Camp," and guests are expected to walk up the museum's iconic steps in their Camp finery. Think headpieces, body glitter, fluffy tulle and boas galore.

So how did your favorite fashion people interpret the dress code? Click on the gallery below to see every look from the Met Gala red carpet, and check back throughout the evening for live updates.
