On Thursday, H&M announced its designer collaboration for 2019 and it looks like our couture-tulle dreams (at a reasonable price) just might come true. Following its partnership with Moschino last year, the retailer will team up with Giambattista Valli. A limited-edition drop of apparel and accessories is expected to arrive at select stores (12 total) and online on Saturday — a first for H&M — followed by a full collection available around the world on Nov. 7.
"The idea is to bring the Valli DNA of extraordinary, of one-of-a-kind, of uniqueness, of couture," says the Italian-born, Paris-based designer in an interview with Vogue.com. (The range — dubbed "Project Love" — will cost between $17.99 and $649.) "We have our fans and they see all these beautiful moments on the red carpet, Valli girls at official events. It’s a nice way to share this flavor with them."
Fittingly, fans will also get their first glimpse of the anticipated collaboration at amfAR Gala at Cannes, as Kendall Jenner, Chiara Ferragni, H.E.R., Chris Lee (also known as Li Yuchun), Bianca Brandolini and Ross Lynch will debut a few designs on the red carpet, including Valli's first foray into menswear.
