Before the drama begins on June 24, the cast of MTV's "The Hills: New Beginnings," gathered on Wednesday night at Liaison Restaurant and Lounge in Los Angeles to celebrate their return to reality TV. The evening looked like a memorable one, complete with a performance by Natasha Bedingfield, the singer behind the show's iconic theme song "Unwritten."

It's been almost 10 years since we've watched Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port, Stephanie Pratt and Heidi Montag navigate their prime partying years in LA. Now, these women have grown up, found life partners, had children and started businesses. Their sartorial choices no longer hinge on what tube top will stand out among all the others at Les Deux, which Chanel bag their objectively shitty boyfriends bought for them or what bubble hemline will help them secure their next fashion internship. Their outfits at the series premiere reflected this maturation.

Port, who famously wore too many statement accessories to her first day at Teen Vogue, rolled up to the red carpet in a floor-sweeping sheer polka dot gown, with puffed sleeves and ruffles. She learned her lesson and lightly accessorized with diamond studs and a black clutch. Patridge, the edgier dresser of the bunch, arrived in a strapless glittery silver gown, which she made even more rocker chic with the addition of layered chokers. Montag, their friend — or foe — (we're not sure yet), wore a leggy mini dress made with a large piece of metallic gold fabric. Her sister-in-law, Stephanie, went for a completely different aesthetic: She wore a strapless blue midi that flared out to a tea-length skirt and featured delicate organza petals. She also showed up with Kathy Hilton, leading us to believe she's traded the Pratt family for the Hiltons.

It's not just the women that got better with age. The men — including Justin Bobby and Jason Wahler, aka J-Wahl — have certainly cleaned up. Both have well-kept haircuts and wear tailored pants in 2019, which they put on full display on the red carpet. But their ensembles didn't rival Spencer Pratt's, who wore a matching Gucci logo tee with his one-year-old son Gunner.
