Complex released its latest "Sneaker Shopping" episode on Monday, starring Cara Delevingne, who visited Sneakersnstuff in Los Angeles with host Joe La Puma. The model, actress, singer and self-proclaimed "trainer enthusiast" spoke about her first sneaker memories (while skating back in the day), her longtime partnership with Puma, some iconic sneaker moments (remember when she wore those Puma by Rihanna creepers to the White House?) and her best advice from the late Karl Lagerfeld:
"Don't judge a book by its cover. Everyone has a story. Everyone goes through moments and days and they say certain things. Until you really true know some one and really get to know why they do the things they do, what inspires them, what their fears are, you don't ever really know anyone. So we're in this world right now where we're so quick to judge and point a finger and have an opinion. Of course you're allowed to have an opinion, but it's so easy to throw them at people now."
Delevingne's shopping trip resulted in a total of $1,445.45 (!) spent on new kicks, including Converse Chucks, Nike Air Force 1s, Air Jordans, the Adidas Ozweego "Pride 2019" shoe and, of course, a few pairs from Puma. She also dropped some major cash on clothing from Pleasures and Sneakersnstuff's in-house SNS line, too.
