Zoë Kravitz launches lipstick line with YSL Beauty 
YSL Beauty muse Zoë Kravitz is furthering her partnership with the brand by creating a lipstick collection. The range consists of six shades, including three red and three nude shades that come in satin, matte and shimmery finishes. The shades are dropping one by one throughout the week. The first, is a rosewood nude. The full YSL x Zoë Kravitz collection will be available online on Aug. 25. {WWD

Gucci and Saint Laurent struggle to meet Kering's sustainability goals 
The luxury fashion industry is facing pressure from consumers to curb the environmental impact of its rapid growth and heavily polluting supply chain. But at the same time, it's still trying to sell a dream of excess and indulgence via attention-grabbing, not-so-planet-friendly events. And while Kering has become very vocal about its commitment to sustainability, it's top-preforming luxury brands are struggling to live up these green goals: A majority of Gucci's leather is still made with potentially toxic chromium, and Saint Laurent had a beach-side runway show in Malibu this summer that violated a host of local environmental regulations. {Business of Fashion
