Fashionista's 23 Favorite Shoes From NYFW for Spring 2020
After Marc Jacobs gave his bow on Wednesday night, New York Fashion Week officially drew to a close. And before jumping into the whirlwind of shows and events that the next city on the fashion month tour will bring us, we're taking stock of all we saw right here in our neighborhood, starting with the shoes.
Some strong trends quickly emerged. Perhaps most noticeable was the prevalence of the towering platform shoe, whether it was the Teva sandals showcased at Matthew Adams Dolan, the sculptural Ugg clogs at Eckhaus Latta or the sleek flatforms at Tibi. Though there were still strong sneakers on display at Pyer Moss, sneakers ceded some of their ubiquity this season to daintier footwear, like the strappy heels that showed up in varying formats at Ulla Johnson, Brandon Maxwell and Sies Marjan. And funky loafers had their moment at Rag & Bone and Michael Kors.
Take a look at all these (and some more fun surprises like a pair of sparkly green Jeremy Scott cowboy boots) in the gallery below.
