Thanks to our apparently never-ending obsession with nostalgia and heritage, FILA is having a moment. The Italian sportstyle brand is back in the zeitgeist as its Disruptor sneaker from the mid-'90s became a huge hit all over again. And on Sunday, it cemented its renaissance with its second runway show during Milan Fashion Week.
The show brought a welcome dose of casualwear to the typically buttoned-up fashion week. And it wasn't the first time: Last year, the brand made its debut on the Milan runways, in addition to lending its logo to Fendi for a collaboration. Proving it can stand on its own, FILA brought an elevated aesthetic to the runway this season, incorporating more luxe textures, rich hues and contemporary silhouettes alongside the typical hoodies, sweats and sneakers. Think: a slim silver sequined skirt, a sequin-knit dress and a logo-print tote — all of which build upon FILA's history while also ensuring it maintains its clout well into the future.
Best of all? The limited-edition capsule collection is see-now, buy-now, and at this point, we're pretty sure you know what that means. Shop each item in the gallery below, right now.
