Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world's eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We'll be following the Meghan Markle Effect™ with our column, "Meghan Markle Wore a Thing.
The Duke and Duchess have only been in Africa for 48 hours, and they've already done — and worn — more than the average person does in a week. The royal pair arrived in Cape Town on Monday and hit the ground running with a jam-packed schedule of events, which included multiple outfit changes.
On day two of their trip, the Duke and Duchess celebrated Heritage Day, a holiday which honors the diversity of cultural traditions and beliefs in South Africa, by visiting the Auwal Masjid mosque, the oldest in Cape Town, founded in 1794. During the outing, the new parents viewed the first known manuscript of the Qu'ran in South Africa, and then met members of different faith groups to learn about the work the mosque does to promote interfaith dialogue in the city.

The floor-length frock, which is made out of recycled tissue nylon, is currently available for pre-order. She lightly accessorized the modest look with a Cuyana scarf (available here) and nude, pointed-toe flats, believed to be Sam Edelman.
