Paris Fashion Week Spring 2020 has truly felt like three weeks, and with so many shows comes an abundance of shoes. Winter may be coming, but we can still plan our outfits for next spring in advance, right?
The Paris runways were truly weather confused when it came to footwear options. Some brands embraced summery styles, such as Off-White's terry-cloth crocheted heels and Lanvin's webbing-strapped platform sandals. But other labels like Saint Laurent and Celine held tight to autumnal footwear, presenting a plethora of tall, slouchy leather boots paired with midi skirts.
Pops of color seemed to be a trend, too. Even A.P.C's footwear offerings were primarily black and nude, styled with bright red, green and pink socks. Miu Miu, on the other hand, made a strong case for metallic pastel wedges adorned with its signature jewels in the heels, along with an array of floral boots. Plus, who can forget Thom Browne's retro mules and playful pastel-candy stripe print?
