Title: Director of Finance & Operations
Position Reports To: President

Basic Function: Focus on the big-picture strategy and achieving company goals. Work with President to maintain Krupp Group’s position as a heavy-weight public relations agency in the fashion and lifestyle industries nationwide.

Essential Duties:

Budgeting & Strategic Planning

  • Prepare monthly budget reports and strategize monthly activity
  • Analyze financial data to prepare annual budget
       - Review previous year’s income, outstanding client proposals, consider potential coming expenses and previous year’s expenses to create projections
       - Meet with President to review budget and analyze current status, re-work budget as needed
  • Serve as a thought-partner to President on financial and company big-picture planning

  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on monthly basis
  • Work with accountant to review books on a quarterly & annual basis
  • Prepare 1099s & 1096
  • Pay bills on a monthly basis
  • Oversee and provide support as needed to the Finance & Operations support staff by reviewing their work in monthly invoices to clients, bookkeeping, vendor relations, client contracts, and petty cash reports
  • Maintain relations with vendors, including negotiating contract terms and fees, strategizing office solutions, and overseeing vendors’ service to Krupp Group (such as IT Company, phone, internet, delivery services, and others)

Client Relations

  • Manage the contract execution process and oversee the Finance & Operations support staff with contract preparation
  • Negotiate contract terms with the client and Krupp Group attorney as needed
  • Serve as accounting point of contact for clients and answer any questions
  • Oversee and provide support as needed to the Finance & Operations support staff with any billing concerns that may arise with the client
  • Collecting on past-due accounts and assess finance charges when applicable


  • Strong understanding of business planning and models for financial analysis
  • Degree in Accounting or Business preferred
  • At least 5 years’ experience
  • Experience with Quickbooks required
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills
  • Congenial and patient in all circumstances and able to work efficiently under tight deadlines
  • Resourceful and determined work ethic
