Spinelli Kilcollin, based in Los Angeles, is seeking full-time retail sales associates. Retail sales associates will represent the brand in Los Angeles and will primarily be responsible for meeting with clients in person, over the phone, and via email. They will also be responsible for entering all orders and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have extensive retail experience in either jewelry or luxury goods and have their own roster of clients, both locally and nationally that they have cultivated. The candidate should be both a team player who can work in an office and an independent mover, who is confident working solo with clients. The candidate should also be motivated and regularly come up with strategies and events to increase sales.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work with prospective clients to sell jewelry
  • Engage with clients from the beginning to end of sale to ensure client satisfaction
  • Manage client orders to ensure they are produced accurately and on time
  • Work closely with owners and team members to create retail strategies to increase sales
  • Travel domestically to meet with clients
  • Cultivate an ongoing customer database and maintain and foster these relationships
  • Work with web and social media manager to increase sales
  • Give input on jewelry and packaging designs to facilitate sales
  • Be available to chat with clients on intercom on an ongoing basis
  • Collaborate closely with the web manager to strategize online content
  • Track sales monthly to ensure growth and meet sales goals as determined by company owners

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years’ experience working retail, preferably in the field of jewelry or luxury goods
  • Ability to work with clients across age groups and income levels, providing equal level of service to all
  • Must be a self-sufficient self-starter with the ability to hit the ground running
  • Detail oriented and trustworthy
  • Exhibits discretion with client and company information
  • Existing network of high-value clients a plus
