Chapter 2 is a strategic communications, marketing, audience development, and events firm focused in the fashion, contemporary art, cannabis, and social impact communities with locations in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami. We work with prominent brands and emerging talent across our client categories, many we’re certain you’ll recognize.

Chapter 2’s New York office, located in the Flatiron District of Manhattan, is looking for a part-time Showroom and Office Coordinator to support the PR account teams with day-to-day operations and showroom maintenance. Primary responsibilities include:

  •  Managing showroom maintenance and operations, including merchandising showroom samples, scheduling and overseeing cleaning and organization, ordering and organizing office supplies, keeping the fashion closet organized and efficient, managing sample inventories with the PR account teams to ensure all collections are inputted correctly into the sample management database and kept organized through the season.
  •  Support PR account teams with scheduling, preparing for meetings, and hosting client and media/stylists in the showroom.
  • Coordinating media and stylist pulls, mail room deliveries, and messenger scheduling with the PR account teams; overseeing all inbound and outbound deliveries and shipments.
  • Assisting the PR account teams with reporting and inventory; managing sample check-in/out on our sample management database, ensuring all samples are being loaned and tracked properly; inputting proper information into weekly and monthly senior management and client reports.

This is a part-time, freelance position that is subject to change as the business needs evolve. 1-3 years of fashion industry related experience preferred, interest in fashion required. Candidates should be extremely organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task, familiar and comfortable with professional and amiable client interaction, and demonstrate social, verbal, written, and spreadsheet skills and proficiency, as well as willingness to execute tasks with a sense of urgency. 4 days a week, 5 hours minimum per day availability is required.
