But during particularly busy periods, like fashion month, I can fall into the bad habit of neglecting my (already minimal) routine — and this season, my skin really felt it. My first step in resetting was a good cleanse (currently loving Byoma's jelly cleanser) and then doing Valmont's Moisturizing with a Mask. I like it because, as the name suggests, it feels like a moisturizer when you put it on (so my face doesn't feel frozen), and is intensely hydrating without feeling too heavy. I have the delicately sweet, sudsy-yet-gentle formula stashed in my bathroom as hand soap, and it makes me genuinely look forward to washing my hands. The fragrance profile combines bergamot with white musk and amber (nothing cow-derived here) for a scent intended to smell 'like you, but better.'
