Now that fashion month has wrapped, we have a pretty good idea of what next spring may look like, sartorially speaking. As expected, a number of trending colors emerged as key players for the season, but there's one hue in particular that stood out.

Soft shades of purple, from dusty orchid to pure lilac, featured prominently across collections from New York to Paris, at Carolina Herrera, StaudGivenchy, Balmain, Colin Locascio, Jonathan Cohen, Rodarte, PatBo, Issey MiyakeWiederhoeft, David Koma, Supriya Lele and Feben, to name a few. Trendalytics confirms that audiences are noticing: "Searches over the last three months are up 10.2% compared to last year, and are growing at a steady rate," the retail analytics platform shared, citing Sofia Richie Grainge's purple manicure and balletcore as contributors to this recent bump in popularity.

Although pastels are closely associated with the spring season, there's no need to wait until post-winter to start donning the dreamy trending shade. In fact, according to Trendalytics, interest in lilac is expected to "accelerate in November and peak in December." Why not wear it as an alternative to winter white

Ahead, find pastel-purple pieces to wear through fall, winter and beyond.
