Congress questions Amazon's relationship with TikTok

Amazon representatives attended a closed-door meeting with the House Select Committee in September regarding the company's relationship with TikTok. The meeting, which was not reported on until Thursday, questioned the linking of users' Amazon and TikTok accounts through a feature that allows customers to purchase Amazon products from in-app advertisements directly. Burberry CEO reveals refocused brand strategy

Burberry CEO Joshua Schulman, who joined the brand in July, revealed a shift in company strategy on Thursday. The "Burberry Forward" plan will celebrate the brand's British heritage, increase focus on the outerwear and scarf categories and re-evaluate pricing. "Our recent underperformance has stemmed from several factors, including inconsistent brand execution and a lack of focus on our core outerwear category and our core customer segments," Schulman said in a statement. "Today, we are acting with urgency to course correct, stabilize the business and position Burberry for a return to sustainable, profitable growth." {Burberry}
