I had never been to a Jenny Packham show, but thanks to a certain newly minted princess (ahem, Ms. Middleton), everyone now knows the designer's name. And Packham deserves the recognition. The impossibly flowy chiffons and beaded lace hotpants (our fave, hands down) had to appeal to the various starlets present, including Mandy Moore, who was actually gawking at points during the show. Not to mention that every single item was covered in sequins.

The Carolina Herrera show got a lot of attention yesterday because of a random Nicki Minaj sighting and subsequent hilarious pictures that surfaced of her and Anna Wintour as seat mates. But there was another show going on, let’s not forget. Carolina Herrera worked her usual ladylike sophistication with a few twists thrown in for spring. (And I wore a signature white button down a la Herrera in her honor.) All shades of garden green were woven into plaid and adorable sparrow prints on dresses and separates. Decidedly more graphic than her usual outings, with flourishes of deco and modern art, it was well suited to her buttoned-up gallery hopping clientele that keep up with the times by speaking highly of Koons while secretly preferring Winterhalter.
Lela Rose’s spring collection featured pieces that are a bit bolder than her usual ladylike frocks, in a good way. The designer drew inspiration from sin city’s Neon Museum—also known as the Neon Graveyard—a spot that houses unrestored, neon signs that used to dot Coney Island and Las Vegas. “The inspiration is definitely a different vibe and feel,” the designer told us backstage. “We did all of these faded neon colors which I think is definitely a departure of what we normally do with the color palette.” Rose was a little more playful this season, and matched bright mosaic patterns aptly named “carnival prints” with neon yellow and orange lace knits. Of course, she offered plenty of shifts and sheaths, but this time around they were punched up with bright floral patterns and deep orange and yellow hues that recalled a sunset. The structured silhouettes mixed with wilder prints created a balanced and polished looked for day or night. As for the shoes, Rose paired up with Payless again to offer fabulous and wallet friendly footwear. We spotted plenty of vibrant wedges that will be sure to update any spring wardrobe.
Charlotte Ronson has essentially built a career designing for her friends--which isn't such a bad thing when you consider who we're talking about here: Margherita Missoni, Kelly Osbourne, Joy Bryant, Whitney Port and Nicky Hilton were among the designer's pals who came to show support at Ronson's spring 2012 show. And that's not even counting the Ronson bloodline, which, with Sam Ronson DJ'ing the event and Annabelle Dexter-Jones walking, was in full force. But while the celebrities were easy to spot, the actual collection was a bit harder to pin down.

Obviously, as fashion-obsessives, we're a little nutty about models. We're also pretty into blogging. And tweeting. Oh, and Tumbling, too. With that said, it shouldn't be a surprise that we really adore the Supes that gratuitously plaster themselves all over the web. Some are incredibly savvy (whaddup, Coco?); some just run a hilarious Twitter. Either way, these accounts should all be on your must-follow list. Click through for the full list, and let us know if we missed your favorite internet-obsessed model.
We've written a ton about the microblogging trend, and it's time for us to finally, excitedly, make the big announcement: Fashionista is on Tumblr! Now we have another pretty peachy pink space for you to enjoy. Go check it out, and please tell us what you think. Once there, you can ask us anything you've been dying to know, or even submit an idea for a post. (It's InsideFashionista.Tumblr.com, by the way.) P.S. Have a favorite Tumblr? Emma Watson Attending Oxford: Apparently, Brown just didn't do much for the superstar. No worries, she's not dropping out- just doing her junior year abroad...in her home country. {Vogue UK} Olivia Palermo is the Cover Girl of the Summer: The former "Elle accessories editor" (read: reality TV star) is now taking over the newsstands in a new way. She's covering three different magazines this summer, looking unsurprisingly drop-dead gorgeous on each one. Love her or hate her, this girl has got some serious style. {MTV Style} Kirsten Dunst Models in Another Friend's Look Book: Opening Ceremony just posted the look book for their collaboration with Reyn Spooner, known for his Hawaiin print shirts. It stars Jonathan Rice, Jenny Lewis and Kirsten Dunst all looking very cute. Kirsten's boyfriend Jason Boesel shot it. Hopefully Scott Sternberg isn't too jealous. Also, we guess hipsters wearing Hawaiian prints is going to be a thing. {Opening Ceremony}
It seems as though escaping coverage of the Kate Middleton's latest ensemble is virtually impossible--even we've fallen victim. Some bloggers have gone so far as to devote an entire website to Kate's personal style. Thus, we had no choice but to supply you with a round up of the best Catherine of Cambridge fashion blogs.
Elizabeth Taylor's Diamonds Touring the World: The late beauty's jewelry collection will take one last whirl around the world before finally being auctioned off in NYC. There's couture and art in the lot as well. {omg!} Mr. Big "Doesn't Get" What SATC Became: Chris Noth doesn't think there will be a third Sex and the City film, and he's happy about that. He also said that he's OK with no longer being a part of the "circus of attention." Maybe the rest of Big and Carrie's story will be left to our imaginations. {Contact Music} The Bag That Made History Sells For £25,000: Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher's black Asprey bag, which was apparently seen as her "secret weapon" and a symbol of power, sold for about $40,000 earlier this week. {Yahoo News}
Beyonce gifts Solange with 25 pairs of shoes: The singer, who's been known for spending millions on her loved ones, splurged at Saks and Bergdorf's on Thursday, and bought her sis a pair of shoes for every year she's been alive. Can we join this family? {NY Post} Lady Gaga sued over wristbands: An attorney with Michigan-based 1-800-LAW-FIRM is suing Ms. Germanotta on pretenses that she profited from the "We Pray for Japan" wristbands sold on her website, of which proceeds supposedly all went to tsunami and earthquake relief efforts. Say it ain't so, Gaga! {Showbiz Spy} Heidi Klum is releasing a new QVC jewelry line; we're hoping she doesn't get sued this time: The supermodel plans for much more, well, original inspiration for her second collection. QVC and Heidi's lawyers aren't alone in crossing their fingers that she'll avoid a lawsuit this time around. {Styleite}

It makes sense that fashion brands have glommed onto Tumblr. The microblogging platform's highly visual nature is a perfect fit for fashion brands to showcase their identities in creative and subtle ways. Of course, some brands are much better at it than others. Here are the brands we think are using Tumblr best right now.
